Japanese mapo tofu(2 serving)
This mapo tofu is not hot, even a child can eat it.I cooked even a child to be able to eat deliciously.The point is to use dried-bonito soup stock.It is healthy and the dish which is most suitable during diet.
Ingredients
- 1 block(400g) film tofu
- 120g ground chicken
- 5 green onions
- 1 tbsp ginger(chop into small size)
- 1 tbsp garlic(chop into small size)
- ★200cc dried-bonito soup stock
- ★1 tbsp soy sauce
- ☆1 tbsp(15ml)potato starch
- ☆2 tbsp(30ml)water
Directions
- Chop the ginger and garlic finely.
- Chop the green onion into 0.5 inch lengths.
- Cut the tofu into 1 inch × 1 inch × 1 inch and set in a strainer to drain for 10 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and saute the ginger and garlic.
- When the spices release their aroma,add the ground chicken and break the clumps.
- Add the ★dried-bonito soup stock and ★soy sauce.
- When it starts to boil,add the tofu and green onions.Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until half of the liquid is cooked out.
- Thicken with the starch water from ☆.
- Place on a serving.
