Speaking of summer lunch, it is somen.I boil it and eat with soup stock soy sauce.It is cool.make a bowl with ice and add soy sauce soup stock and add the somen.It is traditional Japanese food.The somen is one of my favorite foods.If you get a chance to come to Japan, I want you to eat somen.
The Japanese celebrity singer ate somen for 3 months and seemed to lose 10 kilos.Somen are usually made from wheat.Therefore I cannot understand why it is most suitable for diet.However, the Japanese woman eats the somen during diet.It is an everlasting mystery.
Somen production area
Somen has been actively produced mainly in western Japan since the early-modern times.Because I was from Kansai, I ate Miwa Somen and Bansyu Somen.Miwa Somen is a somen produced in Miwa area centering around Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, and it is a local special product of the area.Bansyu Somen is believed that somen production became active because the area was blessed with good ingredients such as high-quality wheat from Harima, clear flow of the Ibo River, and salt from Ako.
