A Happy New Year
This New Year holidays is warm in Japan.It is very comfortable.During New Year holidays, people actively and gorgeously celebrate the new year by attending shogatsu events and enjoying shogatsu dishes.
New Year’s food
I will eat New Year’s food on New Year’s Day.It is called ‘Osechi-ryori’ in Japan.Most dishes are cooked in order to be preserved for at least three days so women don’t have to cook during that period. Various kinds of beautifully-prepared dishes are set in four-tiered lacquer boxes.
Oshiruko
In addition to this, I will eat Oshiruko on New Year’s Day.Oshiruko is Sweet red-bean soup.Like cup ramen, I can eat it just to pour hot water.It is black soup, and the taste is very sweet.It is suitable to supply sugar at the time of mountain climbing.
